The Centrum is no longer just a hall — it’s become a platform where play meets principle. Once home only to music and performance, it now welcomes voices exploring the ethical, emotional, and social dimensions of games of chance and human decision-making. The facility serves as a modern agora — a place where questions matter more than answers. Whether it's about odds, choices, or self-control, our sessions are guided by reason, reflection, and respect for both tradition and innovation in entertainment. Located in the heart of a thriving region, The Centrum now attracts not only art lovers, but thinkers, educators, and curious minds who seek to understand how gaming — from lotteries to live casinos — shapes our values, risks, and relationships. The project is curated by the Foundation for Applied Culture and Ethics (FACE), a non-profit initiative focused on media literacy, responsible entertainment, and community development through digital reflection, storytelling, and discussion. Guest speakers and collaborators have included sociologists, theologians, behavioral economists, former high-stakes gamblers, and developers — each offering a lens into how games reveal our humanity, our temptations, and our capacity to choose wisely. The core initiative — FOCUS ON INTENTION — is centered on helping participants, young and old, to enjoy gaming consciously, talk about risk openly, and foster a mindset where thrill doesn’t mean harm, and fun doesn’t exclude responsibility. |
