The Annex is a part of the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center complex, a very unique facility, providing cultural enrichment and a myriad of social and educational services by the 120 non-profit organizations that use the facility annually. It is a splendid community partnership between the private and religious sector and that of the County. The Community Center is the heart of a civic complex that includes the Centrum, a 63-acre park, the new 30,000 sq. ft. Barbara Bush library and a very busy Harris County Court House Annex. The Annex includes a gymnasium and many other classrooms and meeting rooms of varying sizes. For example, there are five elementary size classrooms that are used year round by the Cypress Creek Christian Preschool, and there are twelve high school rooms of varying sizes that are commonly used by the majority of the non-profit organizations that use the Cypress Creek Community Center. This gym is used regularly by the YMCA as well as many basketball youth leagues. And the Interface Samaritan Counseling Center is a permanent fixture in the Annex building.
