Cypress Creek Christian Community Center

The Cypress Creek Christian Community Center is the focal point for youth programming in Northwest Houston.  It houses the programs and services of 120 non-profit community-service organizations.  The Community Center also includes The Centrum, Northwest Houston’s performing arts hall.

Capital Improvements

 Renovations and Improvements for Existing Buildings and Grounds

The Middle Building and the Annex (which includes the Gymnasium and community meeting rooms) are 24 and 21 years old respectively.  The Centrum Building is eight years old.  These buildings—which have housed the activities of an entire community over the years and records annual usage of 330,000 neighborhood  residents—is in need of capital  improvement, refurbishing and repair.  Major hailstorm and water damage repairs consumed extraordinary attention over the past two years, to the exclusion of on-going needs for renovation and improvements related to the daily, heavy community usage of the facilities.

1.        Covered access connecting community center campus,  Handicapped

2.        Sidewalk access to existing sidewalk on Yorkminster

3.        Refurbishing and repair of annex/gymnasium buildings         $ 35,000

(includes, resealing, stairwell, kitchen flooring, restroom renovation, paneling)

4.        Gymnasium floor, wall coverings and scoreboard

5.        Exterior improvement and repair, relocation of dumpster, trash
receptacles and additional underground drainage system               $ 25,000

6.        Replacement and augmentation of lighting in Forum and
