When Cypress Creek Christian Church and Community Center was born in 1972, the vision included the establishment of an active community center which would meet human and spiritual needs and become a beacon to the world of art and music. Since its inception, the Church and Community Center has become a centering point in the community for great music in concert and worship as well as the heart of social services. In 1995 The Centrum, a 900-seat acoustically exquisite hall was built. It houses splendid worship and music, and in unique form annually presents twenty-six professional touring artists and over fifty school and community concerts as well. The project has one centering piece to be completed: an exemplary Pipe Organ built to last hundreds of years, calling us together in harmony to remember that to God alone is the glory.
Proposed Rosales Pipe Organ to be housed in The Centrum Manuel Rosales, master organ builder, has designated his Opus 28 for The Centrum. Many experts would say he stands out as the finest builder of our day. His exceptional capabilities have continued to be recognized, and most recently as the organ builder of choice for the Walt Disney Symphony Hall in Los Angeles.
