Thank you,
Volunteers!
Cypress
Creek Volunteers at the Shell Houston Open!
Nearly 50 Cypress Creek volunteers
gave the gift of time and energy to check tickets at the admission gates
at the Shell Houston Open. The tournament was held at The Woodlands T.P.C.
golf course March 25-31 and conducted by the Houston Golf Association.
Volunteer Beverly Bland, who helped on two days, remarked, “I really
enjoyed volunteering. It was fun and the day went by fast! I saw many of
the big names in golf. My boys will be impressed.”
Dedicated volunteer, Ernest Burandt, not only volunteered at the admission
gates but also drove volunteers to the tournament and loaned his digital
camera to take the photos on this page. Dale Adcock, who showed up bright
and early on two days to greet the many spectators, said, “We were close
to the action and really busy so the day went by fast.”
Many did double duty by either volunteering for more than one day or by
driving a car load. A big THANK YOU to every volunteer who was there to
share the message of outreach from the Cypress Creek Christian Community
Center. Your gift of time and service is greatly appreciated. You made a
difference!
The Houston Golf Association (HGA) continues to be a strong supporter of
the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center. Past supplemental funding
made possible the building improvements and facility renovations. Thank
you, HGA!
Thanks to these Volunteers and Helpers…
